Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-08-13
Yacht Masters Hub, LLC ("YMH", "we", "us", or "our") operates the yachtmastershub.com website and the AI-powered yacht operations platform available at app.yachtmastershub.com (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We designed it to be readable. If anything is unclear, email hello@yachtmastershub.com and we will explain.
We collect the minimum information needed to run the Service and improve it over time.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not train third-party foundation models on your private vessel data.
To answer questions, the Service sends your query and relevant context to language models operated by Anthropic and OpenAI under enterprise agreements that prohibit those providers from training their models on your inputs or outputs. Vessel documents you upload are stored in our own systems and used only to answer your questions and populate your workspace.
We share personal data only with vendors who help us run the Service and only under written agreements that limit their use. Categories include:
We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of a person or vessel.
Account and vessel data are retained for as long as your account is active. On cancellation you can export your data for 30 days, after which we delete it from primary systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data from within your account, using our privacy request form, or by writing to hello@yachtmastershub.com. We reply within seven business days. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), or similar laws. We honor those rights globally.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or newer) and at rest. Access is role-based and audited. We conduct periodic reviews of dependencies and infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask you to use a strong, unique password and to enable two-factor authentication where available.
We use first-party cookies for authentication and analytics. We do not use advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Service will not work.
Sessions on /try, /focus, and other in-app surfaces may be recorded via Microsoft Clarity so we can see how captains use the product and fix friction. Password fields, payment fields, and email inputs are masked in every recording. Clarity does not sell or share the data. You can opt out by using a browser or extension that blocks clarity.ms.
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
YMH is based in Florida, USA. If you are outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
We will post any change here with a revised effective date. Material changes will be sent to you by email.
