Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-08-13 · Full counsel-reviewed version publishing in V1.1
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Yacht Masters Hub website, applications, and services (together, the "Service") operated by Yacht Masters Hub, LLC ("YMH", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
YMH is a software platform that helps yacht owners, captains, and operators manage vessels, maintenance, documents, and knowledge. It includes an AI concierge that answers marine-technical questions. The concierge produces guidance, not certified engineering advice. Use judgment. When lives, safety, or the vessel are on the line, escalate to a qualified professional.
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@yachtmastershub.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You retain ownership of the data, documents, and content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant YMH a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use Your Content to train third-party foundation models.
Do not use the Service to violate the law, infringe intellectual property, upload malware, attack our systems, scrape at volume, or misrepresent your identity. Do not use the concierge to prepare false statements to regulators, insurers, or classification societies.
The Service integrates with third-party providers (payment, hosting, AI inference, analytics). Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms. We choose providers that meet our data-handling standards but we do not control them.
The Service, including software, design, and branding, is owned by YMH and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.
Each party will protect the other's non-public information with the same care it uses for its own confidential information, and will use it only to perform under these Terms.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, YMH disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The concierge produces informational answers. It is not a substitute for a licensed marine professional.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YMH will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of one hundred dollars or the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You will defend and indemnify YMH against third-party claims arising from Your Content or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate the Service for material breach, non-payment, or activity that endangers the platform or its users. On termination you can export your data for 30 days.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of laws. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice at least 15 days before they take effect.
